The Astro-Tech 2” to 1.25” eyepiece adapter lets you use 1.25" accessories in a 2” focuser or star diagonal. It has a 1.25” soft brass compression ring eyepiece holder that won’t scratch your eyepiece barrels. A slanted shoulder machined into the 2” barrel acts as a safety stop to engage your focuser’s thumbscrew and keep the adapter and 1.25” accessories from falling should the thumbscrew accidentally loosen during use.
